We have different alters in our system that like different foods as well.

There's a 16 y/o alter who absolutely cannot eat meat! (The rest of us can though. Go figure!)

There's a 19 y/o alter who used to feel sick all the time, or would get full too quickly, so she threw up a lot. It wasn't bulimia, but it was more of a gut-based and nervous/PTSD-based disorder. She didn't get sick all the time, but the food she ate had to be very small portions when she was out.

The rest of us can pretty much eat what we want, but I, the main person, cannot stand the rock-like grizzle in ground beef and hot dogs, so those two things coupled with some other meats are definitely out of the question. We'd much prefer plant-based meats (vegetarian burgers, plant-based crumbles, etc.) nowadays anyway. The only meats we do eat are eggs, fish, sometimes poultry, sometimes pork, and occasionally pot roast. But we more often than not buy plant-based chicken and plant-based meats - which aren't meats at all. We also love tofu and other Asian foods.

But now that the body is suffering from prediabetes and obesity and other metabolic disorders and two diseases and a uterine disorder and possible thyroid issues and possible perimenopause issues, we have to adjust our eating habits.

Our littles are very upset because we can no longer have candies, cakes, and cookies. The teens and those mentioned above love the idea of a diet because they cannot stand the body being overweight (even though those alters are thin inside). We're all adjusting to this new stuff. We all realize that what we do affects the body and each other, so we're now trying to work together more. It's hard though. We sometimes want to go our separate ways and do what we want. We just can't anymore, for the sake of the body.

We have two separate alters for the body - they are both formerly known as "fragments." We named each of the alters, or some of them already had names, but for safety reasons, we don't mention them online.

We are sorry about that.
