I was adding a movie to the thread on Movies About Mental Illness tonight and I decided to check in on the Songs About Mental Illness and I saw a few post that I made from two years ago that I do not remember..... let alone ever remember listening too such a dark band in my past.

The it hit me (I had told my husband when he was my bf about me going to see Black Sabbath in concert as a teen) - and yet I personally do not / cannot remember this event..... let alone accept the ideal that I might have a dark side to me as I personally would have never listened to or went to see that band way back then... twenty five years ago.

Now I wonder who posted the Song for ME in the music thread on Black Sabbath - Am I Going Insane
... as I have no past mental recollection of the song.

a long forgotten piece of my life's puzzle...... one that seems dark & scary to me.

((((((((((((((Rhapsody)))))))))))))))

I know it's hard but I think it's "normal" to have a side of us that is like that. Because our lives were most likely not all a bed of roses so to speak, there are parts of us that dealt with things the way they needed to.

It may be that that part is integrated now and that barrier is gone. If might be that this is part of who Carol is as well.

If it turns out to be a part not yet dealt with, that's okay too, though I know it would be very disheartening.

Try not to borrow trouble if you can. If something needs to be dealt with, it will happen when the brain is ready to deal with it.

I know it's hard Rhapsody and I'm so sorry. Please take good care. I know you are under much stress right now. I hope it will be lessened for you soon.

I also do NOT think you are insane not to remember posting that song. Sometimes it isn't even about another part I think.

I think this sort of thing probably has happened to everyone. It's kind of like, dang, where did I put my keys? I remember bringing them into the house.

It will be okay Rhap. try not to worry. Black Sabbath - (concert) Black Sabbath - (concert)
