I'm sorry your scared. I'll stay here and be with you if you want. It's good to trust Leslie to know what to do; maybe you could get a teddy bear or another stuffed toy to hold onto. I'll be here if you get too scared, we can color or I can just sit with you.

I think thunderstorms are kind of scary too.

we don't get hurricanes in finland, but sometimes at winter there are storms during which the lights and electricity go out. that is scary indeed, but it usually doesn't last for long. maybe you guys could keep a flashlight when the hurricane gets nearer? i do that every now and then because sometimes when one of the littles are on the surface they don't know how to light candles etc. also, leslie will surely take care of all of you!

Storms are very scary for me as well. We keep a flashlight on the nightstand always. It's a big one that the light will last all night if the power goes out so we won't have to be in darkness. We also have extra batteries in the drawer.

What i have my daughter do when we have a thunderstorm is to make a nest of pillows and blankets and stuffed animals. Have a big flash light. Its scary if the lights go off but you will be ok.

We are physically safe and dry. Our part of Texas just got windy and rainy. My spouse is going out of town and I am mad at him becos he said he "might " email me when I asked him if he would email me if I emailed him. He said "I'll try". overwhelming support...not. i have been very nice to him today and all week cos he's having a rough time at work and now he has to go to switzerland tomorrow and it is not a fun trip becos things are going bad with this contract. and he cant even be nice enough to say it like he really will try. rat fink, double rat fink. grrrr boys are dumb!!!

Those are good ideas. The weather got enough better that my littles are not worried about it right now. They are all focused on being mad at Phil for being a double rat fink. We asked him to email us if we email him on his trip and he said, "i'll try" with a noticeable lack of enthusiasm. so we are mad at him. he is a fink. i know worse names but i know we are not sposed to use them on forum. he is a triple rat fink. I hope a baby cries all night while he's stuck on the airplane. ha!!! that will serve him right for being a double and triple rat fink! hahahahahahaha. i feel a little bit better. he would probably be mortified if he knew i was writing angry things about him on line. and he does not know, so there. he is mr. bigshot at work and at church. but not at home right now. so there. dumb boy type person. i hope he gets a headache while the baby cries all night on the plane and his train is delayed and his luggage gets lost. oh, ok, i hope his luggage don't get lost. just a crying baby and a headache. those i hope happen to him both going and coming home. hahaha
