I just wanted to let everyone know I do care about you all even though I don't reply to many post. There are so many ppl here I don't know and I'm sorry I don't know everyone. Plus there are a lot of new folks here. There are a few reasons why I don't post much and I just wanted everyone to understand why.

First, I'm not the person, piece, alter, how ever you want to call it who started coming to PC all those years ago. That was Monty and she's been gone for awhile now. So I'm learning who everyone is.

And the second and biggest issue I have and face is that I don't read very well at all. So it takes me a very very long time to read a post and understand what I'm reading. To read a tread with replies and all will take me well over an hour just to get through one of them. We had a lot of abuse issues around reading. Was forced to stay up at night and read words over and over by our abuser. Reading is never been an enjoyable act. Reading causes pain and frustration for us.

And my third reason is I just don't see well at all. With having Ehlers-Danlos my eyes have become very weak. So many times I have to cover my left eye to read. The lines in the threads run together and I mix the lines up while reading.

Just wanted everyone to know the reasons I don't reply to your post. I do care about everyone and I read as much as I can. Just hard. It's easier to chat for me. can always ask you all to explain things when I don't know the words. Everything I read is by word memory. I don't relate sounds with letters or words. So I have to remember what a words is. Can get really hard when stressed out cause my memory goes right out the door.

Just wanted everyone to know why I don't reply to post. I really really try to read them though. Just takes me awhile.

No need to explain, but if it makes you feel better, then I'm glad you did

You are welcomed, accepted, and appreciated no matter how much you post or don't post.

My name is Elise, or Lis for short

I just don't want to cause any confusion for anyone. Just MG would be fine.
