So I'm in session with T, complaining about H and wondering how can he possibly do one thing one moment and then the next moment act like nothing ever happened. And T goes, well, he's probably dissociating. So, I respond, "well, that's a weak excuse." And T says, "Excuse me! Haven't we been talking about YOUR dissociation for two years now?"

(((((((((((((((MissCharlotte)))))))))))) I have been frustrated at a friend due to the same thing. Friend is not DID but does dissociate to a medium to high degree. Sometimes I think how on earth can this person not remember this and then have to laugh at myself because it might be that that one thing is the ONLY thing I remember.

Hi wantto,
Doesn't it make you wonder how frustrating we must be at times? ![]()

Oh yea, it sure does. I used to not understand why people were so upset with me (I used to think they were tricking me). As I've become more aware, I can see why. And now when I get frustrated about things, it makes me realize more about myself. Awareness is the first step to change my T says though.
