So...we saw hubby's t yesterday (I just love this woman) and she said something so simple...yet profound, I wanted to share it with you. I've been thinking about it since we left.
She/We believe hubby dissociates when he is in certain stressful situations. And she replied to a comment he made, "Our bodies are a wonderful thing. They protect us when we need them to. Whether we know it or not. The body takes care of us." Made me feel better. I don't know why exactly. Just something to think about.

I dissociate when I'm in stressful situations. I don't diss. as much now 'cos I don't leave this house much! But yeah, that does make sense.
Sleeping is a way for the body to repair itself. If you need sleep, your body will tell you. I sleep 10 hours in the winter. Not good sleep though as I have nightmares but I sleep. Love, RhysMadison |
