Hello everyone:

We're new to PC and this is our first time posting in the Dissociative Disorders Forum.

In addition to being diagnosed with DID/Polyfragmented ... the other primary mental health issues I also contend with are C/C PTSD ( honestly, have never run into someone with DID who didn't also have some level of PTSD as well ) and Maj. Depressive Disorder.

Been struggling with a lot of life stressors recently and now find that we've regressed significantly over the past few months ... almost had the pronoun thing licked but now I'm even struggling with remembering to use first person singular. Beyond indicating that my mental health issues are not rooted in any sort of combat trauma ... I think you can pretty much figure out where it all originates from. Long and complex story, too much and too complicated to outline in a single post. Working very hard to try and get things stabilized again ... looking forward to when the life gets back to being routine and boring!

We're really looking forward to hearing from other members here and sharing information, learning new things and supporting one another. So we just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi, rather than just lurking around and having everyone wonder about the newbie.

We really hope everyone is safe and well ... wishing you all peace, comfort and resolutions to all you struggle with: Kefrin

welcome kefrin - i agree, i have never met anyone with DID who doesn't have PTSD either.

no combat trauma maybe, but life itself can be a combat of sorts. ugh.

hope to hear more from you,

twilight

Thanks again for being so welcoming!

Yes, we know how frustrating it can be to have individuals who appear to be just lurking in a forum so we do, at least try to introduce ourselves in the forums we visit ... just so people know who it is that's wandering through and reading.

Take care, hoping that everyone is safe and well: Kefrin
