I've been in chat some times when you come in, and people don;t leave because of you. Chat's often busy and people come and go, because they have things to do, and your entrance doesn't affect them, you just come in as people leave is all. If you stay a little while, people would probably join you. Also different times of day are busier.

Yep. It's not just you. But then again, it's not me, either. I don't take it personally. We never know what we're walking into when we log on to Chat. In case you haven't experienced it yourself, it's also awkward being on the other side of the fence... you're in Chat, right about to say goodbye for the night, and then someone else enters. The dilemma -- do you leave anyway, or stay (even though you're tired) to avoid hurting the new person's feelings?

My policy is to say hello and goodbye and leave anyway. I can't operate out of guilt... although sometimes I am tempted to.

So, worry not. It's nothing against you, personally, I'm sure!

Love,
LMo

I only tried Chat once. I don't care for real time talk. I never know what to say. But don't take it personally. People have other things going on & they may be as nervous as you are.

LMo- Is that your cat? It looks like one of ours. He doesn't have as much black going down his eyes though.
Just had to make mention.
