I should have been in bed hours ago, but only just recently took my meds, because I am NOT tired. GRRRRR. And to compound things, I have this severe ache in my legs, NOT restless leg syndrome, that is keeping me from being able to relax enough to fall to sleep. Which means I will probably oversleep tomorrow morning, have to take my daughter to school, race home, put clothes on to go see my neurology dr, and then go home and drop from exhaustion, except the damn exhaustion doesn't ever go away, and I can't seem to fall asleep when I need to. The other day I was SO tired, and couldn't sleep at all during the day, and into the wee hours of the morning. It is regularly like that...not enough sleep makes Yahna a very unhappy person. So, this weekend, I laid down on my bed, on my belly, and slept that way for 3 hours. Holy cow! A real sleep of 3 solid hours. Woohoo! Well, that was before i tried to move. It took me 15 minutes before I could get out of bed. I was SO asleep that any movement was out of the question. So today here I am, back again at 1 fricking am, and NOT tired. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Guess I will go and read a book, do a crossword puzzle, or something else to amuse my mind...but I don't know if my mind is UP to working tonight! With all the pain I am having, I would be surprised if I can sleep at all. Wouldn't you know it? I have a dr appointment in the morning, and have to see him...he is one of those drs who is wildly popular and can't get seen without scheduling for 3 or more months out. Just once I would like a little bit of sleep...and not wake up sitting up in my rocking chair with a neck that is so stiff it takes the heating pad to unkink the thing...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

make sure you tell your dr. about the lack of sleep. pain and lack of sleep are often related as the body needs the sleep to rejuvinate.
