I haven't seen my ex for over a year. I've been angry all that time, though I've managed to be civil in my communications.

A friend has suggested I go see her, that she will be "smaller" in reality than my hate has made her. I might even get some closure.

What do you think?

Could be a mixed bag. Not sure if it would help. But your friend probably has a better understanding to offer that advice.

She is smaller than she is in your mind. But be careful of seeing her, what do you hope to gain from seeing her?

The thing my therapist keeps telling me about my ex is she only has the power that I give her.
