Hello there! In terms of a divorce settlement, does anybody experience or preference with a valuation tool that quickly estimates the value of a business before spending money on an appraiser?

Thanks for your help!

Not sure, if that helps. There's many more if you search 'business valuation calculator'.

I'm looking for something a little more extensive. It doesn't necessarily have to be free, either. Anybody have experience or a recommendation for an business valuation tool?

Have you considered finding a good tax attorney?

Your attorney can get a forensic accountant for you. That is what you need.

Thanks, but I don't need a professional at this stage. Does anyone have experience with a website that can provide a ballpark estimate -- sort of like comps within an MLS for business?
