My husband asked for a divorce, but we haven't filed yet. He's already talking to another woman and doesn't understand why it bothers me. Is it wrong of me to be upset when I'm not the one even wanting the divorce? Quite honestly, I'm devastated.

I am so sorry! I would be devastated too. Do you have children?
Thanks for this!

You feel what you feel; no need ask permission to express your emotions. I'd feel pretty horrible if I were in your shoes, too. It doesn't sound like your husband is too swift in the sensitivity department, though. I'm sorry you're going through this.

You are allowed to feel however you feel. I found out after my wife had a year and a half affair. I have everything to her and our marriage and family and gladly said no and avoided all offers of the cheating kind. 23 years as my best friend and only woman I have loved. If it weren’t for my kids I’d feel it was a complete waste! You feel anything you want, but my advice is try to avoid hate, because I have gone there to a small extent and it’s toxic and sucks to feel. I hope you find healing and some comfort. I’m only 42 and I don’t believe at this stage I’ll ever be open to love again. It sucks...

Personally, I find that women who are willing to break up someone's marriage are women who have no respect and ONLY think of themselves. He isn't getting any "prize" and time will show him how selfish this other woman can be. This is all about "ego", has nothing to do with YOUR value.
