It's been four years and I still think everyday about my ex. Not in the sense of needing, missing, or really wanting them-- but they come to mind. Their birthday was last month, so that lead to thinking about them a lot more than normal for me, but it's at least a passing thought everyday.

I'm really not sure how normal that is to still have such a connection to someone who isn't in my life in any way. It's better this way, but I can't help but have reminders... even four years later, everyday.

I've been split for three years. Absolutely best choice. I still think of them from time to time. I'm no expert, but it seems to be okay. As long as it's not causing you any problems.

It happens to me too. It's been almost 10 years and it does not feel like that long ago.

It’s been over 30 years for me. I still think of him from time to time. Even now that he has passed on.
