My separated-from wife gave an inkling of possible reconciliation but I'm afraid I'm fooling myself. I just want to say (because I need to say it somewhere): I love my wife. Miss her.

I understand how you feel. I feel the same way about my husband, but it can never be no matter how much I love him. You're not alone in your feelings.

It's a struggle and a loss. I guess it's a little bit of grief too, @Arkady Jameson - another member suggested I look into anticipatory grief, I think it's one of the things that can help me. But yeah, I am going through a divorce, and my husband is a drug addict and right now he's out in the streets. It's a tough situation for sure.

Did you know Ernest Hemingway said, "If two people love each other there can be no happy end to it"? I'm starting to believe him. He also said, "The world breaks everybody.". I'm starting to believe that too.

LadyShadow: this is one of those times I wish I was wiser. I wish I knew just the right words to convey support. Maybe it's okay that you know others are out, going through similar things, and they wish you well. I certainly do.

Thank you for your kind words @Arkady Jameson - it has been very hard on me, but people like you make it all a little easier to go through, so thanks again.
That was a very good quote from Ernest Hemingway, I never knew he said that, but I believe there's definite truth in it. I am sorry that you're going through what you're going through too, hopefully we both can find peace one day in time. __________________ Tales of Love, Motivation, and An Interesting Journey - Please Subscribe to my Website on WordPress: Inspired Odyssey's Path to Wellness and Love |
