Hiya guys,

Just yesterday at around 4 p.m. I had a Grand mal seizure They say that it may be because of my medication (wellbutrin). All of my other seizures was back in 2001 were Petit mal seizures, so my mom is freaked out. It also may have to do with the fact that I am struggling with my disorder yet again (as if it ever really stopped...) I'm not allowed to drive for a week at least, and for today at least, my parents aren't even allowing me to leave the house. My little sister is doing my grocery shopping for me which scares me because I have to have certain brands of things and weird crap like that (eating disorder stuff). I was just lucky to have my mom and my sister in the room when the seizure happened! Now I'm just left with a strained neck and a *lot* of confusion...

I have had grand mal a couple of times before; I know how scary it is. Please take it easy. Not driving for a week isn't so bad. I have only had one grand mal since I have been an adult the rest were when I was little. In Maryland if you go to the doctor for a seizure they are required to report it to the mva and they suspend your license for a year. You have to be seizure free a year before they let you drive. I ended up having to drive without a license because I lived alone and in the country.

btw I love bjork music. I got into her when I traveled to Iceland.

Hehe, I can honestly not remember why Wellbutrin was prescribed for me. I thought it was rather odd, however, because of the warnings in the commercials. Anyway, I'm off it now! Grand Mal Seizure! Scary!

I've had two grand mal seizures before too - they ARE scary! I'm on lamictal for seizures so I don't have any again. I agree with Ozzie...you should treat yourself to a massage or a manicure (etc. etc.). Those are always fun Grand Mal Seizure! Scary!
