Hello & welcome to psychcentral!

What are your activity/exercise levels like?

What do you consider to be overeating?
What one person considers 'a lot' can be very different from another persons opinion.

Also, some naturally have a higher resting metabolic rate than others and so burn of the calories easier. This can also be partly the case if you are lucky enough still to be young.

Are you healthy and well otherwise?

Considering all that...it is still worthwhile to look at eating healthier anyway, including lower saturated or hydrogenated fat, due to all the other health reasons other than weight. And also, your weight may be fine at present, but creating healthy habits now, will help ensure you stay that way.

Happy New Year
