I haven't posted for a while becuase I have been busy at work. I am doing a lot better. I got my cast off, but my ankle is still healing. I am doing physical therapy for it. I am having loads more energy since I started to get the anemia problem taken care of. I am starting to gain a little weight and I am back over 100 pounds now. All and all I am doing much better. Thanks for all of your support.

Thank you so much for updating us on your progress. Addressing the anemia must have made a huge difference for you. How wonderful to hear your energy is up and the cast is off!

Keep at the physical therapy and with the meal plans or whatever it is that your team of professionals work on with you. Good job!!

Great job...how did you get help with your anemia...I ended up in the hospital with a cetral line & IV nutrients for over a week in order to work on the anemia...it has been up & down since then & just can't get up to 100.

Glad to hear about your success...I know going through physical therapy really takes alot of energy...so it is great you controlled the anemia. I know when I had my knee reconstruction...I had pt 3 days a week & did my own pt the other days so that I could be back skiing within 6 months....having the cast on for over a month....I had no leg to speak of & they had to break up all the scar tissue in the knee....glad they have progressed in that procedure since then...no cast & start with the knee machine right out of surgery. I was on crutches for 3 months of not being able to put any weight on that leg...afraid I would pull out the staple.

Hope you are doing the same well now,
Debbie
