Hello.

So, I've been having an "issue" for quite some time now, and I wonder what it is. I eat a lot. At least I think I do. Half of the time is because I really feel hungry, but the other half is just because I kinda have the urge to eat, without really being hungry at all. You know what I mean?

I eat and eat and eat and almost never know when/how to stop. I've been sick a few times from how much I eat. The last time was the past week. I was in pain and throwing up all day long, and, as soon as I felt a little better I started eating again. I really, really don't want to be fat. I really don't. I just won't be fat, but, I don't know what to do anymore. I "need" food all the time. Can anyone help, tell me what is this? It would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

If you've previously been eating very little, it could be your body's reaction to that. If not it's possible there is some kind of chemical imbalance in your body (maybe thyroid) that could be causing it. Do you have any other symptoms? Are you still losing weight despite eating more? If it continues, you should see a dr if possible.

HI,
I think your are suffering from eating disorder.Eating disorder is a group of condition characterized by abnormal eating habits it may involve either insufficient or excessive food intake.
This are some points which will help to prevent eating disorder:
1. Genuine awareness will help you to avoid mistaken attitudes about food.
2. Avoid categorizing food as good, safe, dangerous.
3. Stop judging others and yourself based on body weight or shape.
4. Make a commitment to exercise.
