I've had an overweight problem all of my life. I've tried many diet and exercise programs that just does not work. I am morbidly obese and it will kill me one day unless I do it first. I look terrible in all my clothes, I'm more huge Than the largest boar hog, I've just got no human shape about me. I'm severely depressed And am losing all hope. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thank you.

My dad and his side of the family agree that they might love me more if I get down to a normal size.

your weight and your size have nothing at all to do with your heart,
mind, AND soul. "they might love you MORE if you got down to a NORMAL
size??!! they don't have a ( insert adjective of choice) of what love IS.
what resources do you have for yourself? a counselor, therapist, a good
friend, maybe? please, find someone you can share with, if you don't.
take care of yourself. love, love, and more love. the lamb
Thanks for this!

i too struggled all my life with my weight, the same thing diets, exercises, giving up
on sweets, you name it i done it.

i started to cut back on soda, now it's been 7 years since i had soda.

another thing i did, i am what you call a pear shape, i carry all of my weight on the lower half of my body. so i went on line exercises for my shape and it said yoga, and walking.

i went down 4 sizes and would love to go a little further, but i am taking baby steps.

start off small, instead of 5 cans of soda a day, maybe you drink 2 cans of soda a day, and start drinking water.

if water makes you gag, there are calorie free water flavored.

don't starve yourself, cuz you'll end up binging.

if sweets are your weakness like mine, i don't stay away from them, i just eat a little.

there are a lot of web sites that are helpful, and healthy.

take baby steps, don't get disappointed, and start moving.

I just joined a weightloss group called sparkpeople.com and my goal is to lose quite a bit before I'm through.

This is so terrific but please tell us that you're doing this 100% for you, 0% for your ^&#$ family's "promise" of "love"--"if only."

Im doing it 100% for me so I can enjoy the rest of my life with my wife, the kids and grandkids. I'd like to be able to do more with them and also my life expectancy would probably be more so I will have more time to spend with them.
