I'm not good with numbers. I can't get myself into counting what I eat. I don't write it down. would an IPad2 help to keep track???? I have never been precise.

There's lots of free, online sites that will keep track for you and/or ones you can download to your computer, phone, IPad, etc.

It would depend, are you counting calories or points because you actually *need* to lose weight, or because you *want* to lose weight?
On PsychCentral we don't want to actively encourage eating disorders, which is why I ask. So if you're asking because you have a condition like anorexia or bulimia and want to count calories - that's not something we want to encourage. On the other hand, if you would be considered overweight or obese and need to lose weight for medical reasons, then that is something that could be discussed and a task that could be encouraged. ![]()
