My ED has gotten out of control and my pdoc and therapists have become rather concerned about my loss of weight. I will be inpatient effective 1-20-12 for approximately one month. This all happened so quickly that I haven't had a lot of time to process it. I had a phone assessment on Tuesday, found out that inpatient was the treatment plan recomended for me on Wednesday, found out on Thursday that my pdoc and therapist talked to the ED clinic and told them they thought that was the best route for me too. So in 3 days I went from it being a possiblity to it being a mandatory thing. I've had to make arrangements for my daughter, and for work all in one day. I am so mad, angry, hurt, confused, and sad. and needing lots of hugs.

good for you! it's probably a good thing this all happened so fast so you didn't have too much time to overthink it. take the time you need to get better and keep us posted. hugs!

Just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. I know it is hard hon but it is for you and you deserve to get the help you need. I validate how you are feeling and I understand to the best that I can. Your feelings do matter hon and yet, you deserve to heal and to get the help. They are just trying to help you.

I know you won't see this until you get back, but I wanted you to know that to know that hugs are still flowing your way. I too went inpatient and am now doing the day-program thing. It's hard and it's scary, but our health and welfare is so worth the inconvenience of a few weeks.
