I am pretty sure i have an eating disorder but i have never actually been diagnosed. i was thinking about talking to my physician, or therapist, or psychiatrist. i know that they are somewhat aware that i have had issues with my weight and eating--but should i ask to be checked for an eating disorder? do they even do that? im partly wondering because i am pretty sure that my eating disorder is pretty much directly related to my other disorders (mdd, anxiety, etc)

yes. i go by the general notion of, "if i am asking if i should tell t, then i most likely should tell t".
