Sorry, this is a weird post!
I have a therapist who is older and not trained in ED's - however I've known her so long. She is a 'touching' psychotherapist (called semantic psychology in the USA) Last week, she was putting her hands around my waist as I was lying on the coach ; which was weird enough... as she was trying to guess the size of it. (I'm lucky I don't trigger easily as I've had an ED for 10+ years) Then she put both her hands on my rib cage!! I was so shocked and so was she! She had no idea of my weight as I wear so much black in sessions.. In a weird way, it validated that I need to really try and I do need her help to properly recover. I just had to write this somewhere! |

I didn't say anything and denied relapse; she said she didn't believe me and changed subject.
