so.....this morning i filled the kitchen sinks w/bleach water to do some cleaning. when i drained the water - water started spewing out of the pipe that runs from the sink in the basement.

i'm pretty darn sure this is my fault. i'm pretty sure you can all guess how. i am so embarrassed. i called a plumber. i am really scared what he's going to find, how obvious it's going to be, how big a mess this is going to cause, how much it's going to cost, and on top of that i HATE having strangers in my house!so much for making it a good wkend. i feel incredibly stupid and humiliated. i freaking know better.

This could be a thread on the worst/funny/weird places you purged.

oh the kitchen sink is way down the list in terms of weird. i've chosen much worse places. i was just really worried about the toll on the elderly plumbing.

...i suppose a better goal would be not to purge at all, but i'm not up for that right now. so i'll just try to remember not to use the k sink.

not sure there's anything i can do about the dog hair. i suppose i could take their beds and blankets to the laundromat, but truth be told i am probably too lazy.

Definitely a trip down memory lane. How many times have I been worried about getting 'busted'. I also have done some pretty weird things.

At least you had the dog hair as a cover up.

Just FYI, I take a damp paper towel over all my sheets & dog blankets & beds before placing them in my washer....at least I get off the majority (usually about a grocery bag full of hair) before doing the laundry. It takes time...but well worth it.
