Do you feel good about not eating anything? I hope you can eat again soon. I don't need to tell you that your body needs those nutrients. Okay?

Please be careful, not eating will change the chemicals in your brain. Anorexia is nothing to be proud of; you are not in control like you think you are.
Thanks for this!

What is your reasoning behind eating nothing?.....what feelings are causing you to feel that eating nothting is what you have to do? There is no one in your life right now that you need to control your food in order to keep them away from you any more.....so what's going on NOW?

You will die if you don't eat.

Do you want to die?

But any way that takes less long leave the family feeling even more horrible & can do a lot more damage to one's children. ED has less negative stigma than sui in our society.....which was something I thought through very seriously the first time I was dealing with anorexia in the middle of major depression.

But the real question is always WHY???? no matter what.

Glad to hear you are doing better.....I know how there are times when it hits again when things trigger those feelings.

Yes, it makes a difference because I care about how you are feeling & doing.

I know for me there are times when stresses hit & stress is what causes me to feel so sick I don't want to eat....& sometimes it lasts for several days....sometimes several weeks....that's when I have to eat what ever little amounts of food I can manage to get down.....but it's easy to get back into the not eating mode when those triggers hit. I always feel better when they aren't a long term trigger & I can get back to feeling better....but I know how it happens.

Went through that when I lost Celia in March, & when I was struggling to get my medication covered when my patient assistance refused to cover my $2566/month medication.....stressful situations are what are my triggers to not eating.....glad things are going better for you now.

It absolutely makes a difference.
I fall down a lot. Things get dark, heavy. I see no way out. But eventually the storm clears if I just ride it out. And thanks to practicing that and other recovery tools, and being honest when things are total **** (as you did here in this thread) those storms are less frequent and don't last as long. Thanks for checking in and letting us know you're okay.

Went back to nothing to eat going on four days now. I am alone all day not used to that but like it at the same time.. No one cares what i do so it doesn't matter what i do. I make my own choices I like it that way. I'll always have ED probably die from it eventually. It's the life i chose so i'm gonna live it.

Sounds like you are angry about being alone all day & it sounds like you think they don't care about you because they are leaving you home all alone.

I know I'm home all alone except for my 3 eskie dogs & I know I can go a few days without eating because I forget about it or I'm too lazy to go downstairs to the kitchen to make anything or I can't figure out what I feel like eating....but I'm living alone by my own choice because I had to leave my horrible marriage for my own sanity.

I also know that I can't go without food because I don't have anyone to take care of me or my dogs if I can't & having to be responsible places me feeling a whole lot different about my eating because I do care so much about taking care of my babies.

Sounds like you are having a difficult time trying to deal with something that's going on in your life & not eating is your way of dealing with it......trying to punish them or yourself????
