my friends ip treatment that she has been waiting for almost a year has been snatched away. they dont have a bed for her 24hours b4 she was going to be admitted. shes distraught and i dont know if shes strong enough to make it through another set back and i dont know how to help????

I think if you just be with her and let her now that she is not alone and that you will be there no matter how long it takes to get treatment will really help her out..
I know how headstrong and stubborn people with eating disorders can be. Stick by her even if she pushes you away. I know I often try extremly hard to push people away but usually that when deep down inside I want the to hold on and not give up on me because I'm giving up on myself. Take care.

How is your friend? Any luck with a bed yet? Is there any where else she can go. I know several places in NY but I dont know where you are. Is I can help, let me know.
