i am wondering if im developing a eating disorder i dont eat any more at all in a month now all ive had is monster drinks and beer. Ive lost quiet a bit of weight and feel great perfectly fine. When i look at smell or think of food i feel sick. i dont like food any more i dont need it. Is this just a phase?

it is not necessarily an eating disorder. it could be depression causing you to not want to eat. do you have a therapist you could talk to to help you sort this out? you should look into drinking some diet shakes such as slim fast so you can at least get some nutrients in you. take care.

Even if you feel okay now, depriving your body of nutrients is harmful to both your physical health as well as your brain. Why you are not eating is important too. Do you know what your motivation is for giving up nutrition and solid foods? Whether it is an eating disorder or something else, it does sound concerning, and I would encourage you to see your doctor or talk to another professional who can evaluate what is going on and make recommendations for treatment. Feeling fine even though you are not eating tells me that you are pretty disconnected from your body and tuning out the signals that it sends to tell you what is happening in your body and what you need. You need to get checked out before you lose the ability to think and make decisions, which could very well happen.
