I'd like to recommend a book of the above title, written by Portia De Rossi. It's Portia's autobiography of her journey into the hellish grip of full blown anorexia, her struggles whilst she tried to maintain her high profile life within the confines of the illness - by which time she was very ill. Her subsequent difficult trials and tribulations to regain her health against the odds. It's a very honest account of a somewhat 'high profile' lifestyle, but the fight to gain health and happiness is one that anybody from any walk of life could relate to with ease. Portia eventually went on to marry Ellen DeGeneres and this brought out her remarkable strength to speak out on such issues as women's health and gay rights. Anybody who's ever felt at war with themselves or their bodies will identify with this straight away. Most of all though, it's a story of HOPE.
Thanks for this!

I agree that de Rossi's book is great, it's one of my top favourite eating disorder books. I think your recommendation should come with a trigger warning though - it was actually her book that began my disordered habits ..
