There's a new film coming out about eating disorders with Elle Fanning. The producer used his daughter to provide insight from her own ed. A clip of it is on you tube, but it is disturbing *Trigger Warning.

Looks like it could be interesting.....sounds like it's already came out in theaters in Feb if I noticed that correctly......
Interesting as she looked into the mirror, she didn't see a face that was fat, but she saw one that was cracked all over & pealing off in pieces......interesting different take on an ED because they are always pictured as seeing themselves as fat rather than the weight they are.....this was more like she was seeing someone ugly in the mirror without bringing out the weight body image issue of fat/thin.....think that's really good because there are other reasons for ED's other than that. At least that's how the preview came across to me.

I could relate bc at that age I was obsessed with models. The beginning looked like a slew of fashion models or a fashion mag.
