Tangerine87, You should discuss this with your doctor. There are many reasons why you could be gaining weight. Are you on any new medications? Have you had your thyroid tested lately? Maybe you can have your doctor do a blood panel just to be on the safe side.

Bluekoi's suggestion is right on......there are many psych meds that have the side effect of weight gain. Pdoc can change medications if necessary for your health. If not that then there can be medically issues that could be causing weight gain....& issues with the thyroid can be one of those issues that takes medical blood testing to determine what is actually going on with the body.

Diet pills can actually mess up your metabolism also & make it so that your body won't loose weight......I would definitely STOP the diet pills. They are not worth the damage that they can do to your body.

Please take care of yourself.....when we mess around with our bodies & don't treat them in the way they need to be treated we are opening ourselves up to so many problems that we end up regretting later on after thinking this could never happen to me.

The choices we make truly have an effect on our life. My mother ignored something that could have easily been taken care of early on....it was a skin cancer sort of spot....then she ignored the tumor believing in her own mind that it was "just a cyst"....turned out from it, she died of stage IV Vulvar cancer......the choices me make can mean the END OF OUR LIFE whether we choose to believe it or not.
