I was just wondering if any one on here has ever had any surgery to help you loss that extra weight your body was tired of carrying around..... and "IF YES" - what was the name of the procedure and how did it go? - plus if you do not mind sharing... how much weight have you lost?
Thanks... Rhapsody - |

Not me personally, but I've known several people who have done it. Most of them have had the standard gastric bypass where the lower esophagus is attached to the small bowel to completely bypass the stomach. I've had 2 people who did incredible with it, loosing 150 and 200 pounds. I've had two people who lost weight but had lots of complications with surgery. I've been thinking about it myself, but I'm very scared and nervous. Surgery is not going to fix the reason I over eat to begin with. There are several different procedures out there, I only have had friends who have had the one. Not much help here. Kriso
