I am often told that I am "too" skinny when I am not. People think I am anorexic when they see that I am not eating much. Honestly, it's just my stomach doesn't want too much food which is the average amount of food an average person eats. So, I don't eat in about three days... Because I'm used to it. Is that an eating disorder or not?

Clinical eating disorders usually involve some dissatisfaction about body shape or weight. Are you eating only small amounts in order to stay at a low weight?

Wow! You are capable of not eating for 3 days without feeling weak and can still function? You resemble an animal like a camel. Camel is the animal I admire the most for its not needing to eat for a week in a desert.
I hate that humans need to eat 3 meals a day to function. Preparing food lets me feel a waste of time, a drudgery of serving body. But if I don't eat when being hungry, I can't focus on my brain work and I really hate that way; if I don't eat for a whole day long, I would start to feel weak. |

Eating disorders are generally accompanied by mental symptoms. Are you avoiding food in order to lose weight or punish yourself, or are you just not hungry?
Either way, you should really see a doctor about it because that can cause serious physical health issues! |
