Hey
My therapist told me she’d like me to see a dietitian.
Only I’m not sure I really need it. I do some ED behaviours but I still eat enough most days and the behaviours are only there for a few days and then I have other behaviours. Different behaviours switch of and on. And I’ve only seen my therapist for 2 times now and have only really told her what went wrong. And I don’t want to waste people’s time by going to a dietitian when I don’t really need it.

It can do no harm and if there is really no need you won't waste much of the dietician's time. I would guess quite a lot of people dieticians see need little or no help, but borderline cases are no doubt where dieticians are most useful.
Thanks for this!

It can't hurt to go at least once. From my personal experience with seeing dieticians, they don't keep you coming back for appointments if you're doing well or don't need their support.
Thanks for this!

My therapist wants me to keep a food log and so I have and am scared to show her but want her take on where she thinks I am in my ed stage, and whether i should see one I think i need i have just gotten so scared of cals even in h20 and i keep trying to get surgery for weight loss but they wont let me . I think it depends on the type of person they are an if you feel comfortable with them an trust them .
