Only your therapist or psychiatrist can give you a diagnosis.

Diet can have an affect on how we feel. I have to watch what I eat because foods I eat can stabilize my moods or exaggerate them. A high protein low carb diet with snacks or meals every 3-4 hours will over time reduce my swings. I also avoid alcohol and recreational drugs because those can really increase depression.

Other lifestyle changes that help me are doing yoga, exercises, mindfulness, calm music, and being active on Psych Central.

Some people find the forums give them the compassion and empathy they seek. http://forums.psychcentral.com

Hello there. Well, as our friend above said, only a psychiatrist can actually diagnose a mental disorder and until you have an official diagnoses, it's unlikely you'll be offered the treatment suitable for yourself. Are you seeing a health care specialist? If you're not seeing anyone in the professional capacity, mould you make an appointment with your family Dr with a view to seeing a specialist or theripist? The problem is, in England any way, if your don't have an official diagnosis you probable won't be treated accordingly ~ though I appreciate it may be different in other countries. I send you HUGS.
