Having to go a second time and not be underweight any more, not even 'normal' weight but practically 'overweight'. Yep, still just a (now) fat bulimic who can't control herself around food. Fawk. This sucks. I hate being back here.

Remember, an ED is ANYTHING that causes us to have an unhealthy relationship with food....not eating or eating too much & purging after eating they are all considered to be ED's & all need treatment for the underlying reasons for the behavior in order for recovery to happen.
The fact that your mind tells you that you would rather be dead definitely says there is a lot more underlying your ED than just the ED itself.....work through the issues causing it & the ED will be controlled.....but that's usually harder than anything.....just stopping the behavior we usually find something else to substitute in as a way of coping with the issues that are still there. Hopefully you will in treatment you will find what the issues are & then get help with that also.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hello everyone. Yes, Eskielover is right, ANYTHING that causes our lives to be so very overwhelming IS DEFINATELY a serious disorder. I KNOW it's our actual weight/body shape we worry most about, but the fact that bulimia or different forms of abuse effect out body so badly, means we are suffering illness. Of course being painfully thin brings most attention from people, but even with that, gaining weight isn't just the answer, though it may be the physical answer. I've tried suicide many times simply because I couldn't live with the ''fat'' me, but only two inpatient stays in hospital were actually because I was very physically undweweight, the rest were because of bulimic type illnesses. It can be a long hard fight, I'm 56 and still have not won whatever my ''fight'' is. It's essential to know if there's more behind an ED than first appears, my real illness is BPD, Borderline Personality Disorder ................................ so, if anyone can possibilly find some underlying cause, it can go a long way in finding a correct diagnosis.
