Hi, I am a newbie as of today & I have a peculiar problem....
I have been sliding btwn anorexia & bulimia since I was 12 (I am now 45) Lost all my teeth due to the bulimia, almost lost my life from the anorexia. The present problem? I have dropped over 40 lbs. since the beginning of the year. I seldom eat & I have been taking massive amounts of laxatives on a daily basis for almost a year. So, even I don't eat, I take the laxatives. I go through a bottle of 200 per month. After such a LONG HISTORY of daily laxative abuse -- How do you quit w/o being constipated for the rest of your life? (or gaining weight?) Help? __________________ "It's not your aptitude, but your attitude, that determines your altitude." --zig ziglar |

Welcome to PC! You will find lots of supportive people here...
Over the last 30 years have you talked to anyone professionally or have you been dealing with it on your own? It sounds like you are familiar with the physical dangers... __________________ Direction Ripple Effect - Small things can make a difference |

Hi Lawstheory...maybe you should see a doctor and be really honest with him/her. It sounds like you could use the help. Please, hang in there, but do what you need to do to take care of yourself.
