Hi, I'm a 38yr old female. Married, 2 kiddies 9yr DD / 4yr. DS. I've been bulimic since I was 12. I have been diagnosed every mental illness under the sun. Hospitalizied more times than I can count. Put thru electric shock treatment 9 times & put on every drug you can name. My faith in the Psych world is next to none. I think it's a joke sometimes. Just a bunch of folks getting rich off my expense. I'm sick & tired of being sick & tired. I hope I might be able to get some HONEST & HELPFUL answers here. Looking forward to chatting with you all!!!

Tootles,
Dina

Well I'm glad you found us...you will find very supportive people here...

I personally do not have an eating disorder; however, was greatly effected over 12 years by someone who did...I do not claim to understand it all...I just tend to offer what support I can...

You will see me in many of the other forums...so see you around...

Thanks. We ALL have ISSUES!!!! I belive everyone has an addiction. It just seems to be food for me. Drugs, alcohol, gambling, ect. for others.

Wisdom is where you choose to find it, I say.

I can sure understand..... you get just to the point of giving up and then you find this thread of hope...

The support that I have received here.. truly adds to the therapy that I get...

I believe that ED's can be overcome, I get very discouraged at times but in my heart of hearts, I know it can be beaten.

PM me any time...

Sincerely, freewill
