Just thought I would start a thread for all of us with an Eating Disorder of any kind and those who wish to support us, too.

It is Wednesday July 20, 2016

I'll start:

I am up early and just had my food. It was good, too. I had some veggies and tofu that I steamed. I have ordered some Oriental Spice which is very good on veggies. I hope to get it soon from Amazon.

My weight has been fluctuating but thankfully I am on the right path with it now. That can always change but it's good to feel good about where I am right now.

Thank you for starting this thread Lucy. I am not so well today. Some of my other issues are affecting me. My ED has been present, and I am sad about that. I hope to get back on the right track today though. I notice my ED follows the patterns of my BP, and BPD symptoms. I guess the truth is, it is me who has no self imposed rules and allows my eating habits to follow my other disorders, and I need to look at that, instead of making excuses.

Mine always follows huge amounts of stress in my life. The longer the period of stress the worse for me anorexia ends up.

that really inspiring im really trying so bad to stop my binge eating im gaining weight and im not happy about it

I'm struggling, too. Just trying to get by one day at a time. Seems easier when the new day starts and I know I have another chance to do better. Got a little bit of cleaning done. All the best to all of you!

It's July 28, Thursday. I'm having to adjust to the Topamax all over again because I was out of it for 5 days. Trying to listen to my body and eat when I actually really feel hunger feelings. Also trying to keep hydrated by drinking lots of water.

Still trying to adjust to Topamax. Slept a lot today. My eating has not been going to well. Tomorrow is another day, oh well

30 TH july saturday
I Have had breakfast banana and coffee lots of coffee ...i guess thats ok
Unsure what else to have i hate cereal and i dont like milk

i guess i should try and eat more but am worried am being a pig for eating a banana

I have a problem with overeating. Like, two days ago I ate a taco and fried potatoes. I felt very nauseous and sick. After I eat, I often throw up because I eat to much. I don't make myself throw up, I just do. I have been trying really hard to lose weight. I usually eat a piece of toast with peanut butter for breakfast. I have to eat breakfast because I need to take my schizophrenia meds. I have been trying to only eat breakfast.

just had dinner rice and veggie curry it was nice
going to my mums tomorrow unsure she gets that am a veggie as she keeps saying you can eat fish cant you

I have some meds I have to eat with, too. I like peanut butter on toast, too. Yummy. Maybe your stomach can't take greasy food? Or I mean food that is cooked in fat? Just guessing.

I often eat veggie, too. I am having tofu, potato and broccoli for dinner.

Trying to eat one meal a day plus a fruit. I don't seem to feel very hungry now. Trying to eat for fuel, to keep me going. I am not an active person so I don't need to eat much.

Maybe that is what it is. But sometimes I am nauseated after I eat breakfast. I have been trying to wait an hour before I brush my teeth.

If you are having nausea quite often you may want to tell your doctor about it so he/she can maybe prescribe you something to help that. I use to experience that a lot at one time, too, it was when I was going through the loss of a loved one.

had break fast husband took me out for a meal last night ..unsure what am having for lunch
most likely something small
cupa soup and 4 rice cakes unsure if that too much

I haven't had rice cakes in awhile. They have all kinds now. I had some that looked like popcorn last time. Oh you got to go out, how nice!

Had some BK food today. I didn't really care for what I had. It was sausage egg and cheese croissant. It just seemed so heavy to eat. I often eat vegetarian so maybe that's why it seemed not so good.

Today is Tues, Aug 2. I have only had a banana so far today. Think I will have some more of what I made the other day-broccoli, potatoes, and tofu. Today is a new day. Ended up not doing so good yesterday but that is over with. In life we don't have all good days or at least I don't. Slept a lot today, was really tired from the Topamax, and Doxepin for sleep. Having coffee now.

Today I have had a piece of toast with peanut butter. I might eat some zucchini tonight. Yesterday, I ate a ramen soup and felt sick this morning.

Sorry you felt sick, that can't be pleasant for you. I read that eating bland food can help. Here is an article about having nausea:

Yesterday I think my eating wasn't too off. Can't recall if I had breakfast or not, though. Oh well. Decided I am not going to weigh myself every day any more. It only makes me depressed that I'm not losing faster. I think once a week will be better. I wonder if I should make it longer than that like once every 2 weeks? I'll see. I am about fifty five pounds over the normal weight for my height. I'm finding it so hard to lose and the big reason is that I drink wine, too.

It would be better to weigh yourself less often. Also, the scale doesn't show your percentage of muscle vs. fat. Try measuring your waist, hips, thigh, and upper arm every two weeks. After you have been doing that for a while, you could look back at your old measurements and see your progress.
