Other than Psych Central, what are your favorite or top resources/blogs/news sites/etc. you visit regularly for this disorder or issue? Please reply to this thread and list a few of what you consider the best of the best online today.

Thank you!

www.something-fishy.org

Gave an a lot of information that I didn't know...watching at the time my wife struggle...didn't know what to do...

It has a two sides ... one for people who suffer from an eating disorder and the other for those close to them in some fashion.

Is this what you had in mind DocJohn?

This is one of my favorite sites. I've watched Kat's blogs on YouTube for months now. She recently put up a website. Check out her vidoe blogs. AMAZING, she tells it like it is.

okay, i have a few sites.

the first one goes along with the book i mentioned. the site is:

www.transformempowersoar.com . it's Dr. Susie's website. tons of poems on there from patients, recovery stories, articles... very interesting.

another one is Pale Reflections, and then something called Payson Road... i can't remember their exact site address, cuz i haven't been there in a while... right now i'm mainly coming to this site and Dr. Susie's website.

i am a member of something-fishy as well, that is an excellent site!!! probably the best for eating disorders.

um... i'm trying to think of others... i know so many others, i just can't think right now, lol. i'll come back and post them when i remember!!! Top Eating Disorder Resources Online -- Add yours here!

Eating disorder may results into Obesity or Overweight. We must always have a balance diet for healthy living. If you are facing with this problem than eat a lot of banana and water will do a trick for you.

I thought I would add some links here:

http://www.dailystrength.org (I've been here for around 2.5 years, and I've made life-long friends.)

http://www.LforLL.blogspot.com (Letters for Lovely Ladies and Lads- packages and letters for girls/guys getting into treatment.)

http://fishyvb.something-fishy.org/ (Something-Fishy support forums, heavily moderated to prevent triggering and trolls, for those with eating disorders.)

http://www.something-fishy.org (The actual Something-Fishy website- amazing info!)

http://www.feast-ed.org/ (Lots of excellent resources and info for carers and parents of those with EDs- mostly for parents. Includes a support forum for parents/guardians.)

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=8335153005&ref=ts (Facebook group, viewable by anyone, that includes lots and lots of treatment centre "reviews." CHECK IT OUT.)

http://werfreedomfighters.webs.com/ (Freedome Fighters- includes info about EDs and good place for understanding/help.)

http://www.youtube.com/werfreedomfighters (YouTube channel for recovery-minded individuals. Co-hosts, although not medical professionals, answer questions daily... and accept questions, as well.)
---

I'll add more as they come to me.
