Hello!
Does anybody has this scenario? My mom is an overeater big time. I am thin ( and beautiful, ha ha, just kidding) so my mom thinks I an too thin and ... get this .... she eats for me!
My sister, a former beauty queen is also on my tail to gain weight! She is also an overeater ....
I love them both, but I am healthy as can be while they both have health problems because of their wieght. Mom has back and knee problems and my sister has high blood plessure.

Gloria,

Your mother and your sister are using you as an excuse to cover up because they just overeat. If you are healthy, then just know that you are eating the way you should, and they must make their own choices. Don't let them make you feel bad for what they choose to do, ok?

I don't feel bad for me, and I've told them joking that I guess I'm the perfect excuse for them to eat.
I'm not worry about me ... I'm healthy, but they aren't. My sister is 41 and has high blood pressure, itsn't that a little too young for that? and My mom who is very healthy, has back and knee problems, both related to her weight!

I was mostly wondering if anybody else is experiencing this type of "transference"

I think you are amazingly strong to beable to do your own thing and not let your mom or sister influence you because it can be so hard to sometimes. My mother too is a big overeater and she is on me sometimes about how thin I am. I am happy with how I look and I just have to keep telling myself that. You are doing the same. :0)

Stay strong,
Jessica

I used to hate my name because there were always five others in school with me. However as I have gotten older I like it much more.
