Ate Easter dinner with family. Didn't take much but I ate it. I still feel kinda low-blood-sugary even so because I had nothing but a piece of cheese with a large coffee until I ate at 45 mins ago- caffeine overload.

Today I needed to dust under the computer desk in the living room.

Last time I did that, I was unable to lower myself to the floor. I had to sit on the couch, scoot forward and ease myself down, and then roll (not crawl, because that hurt my knees too much) across the room so I could do the dusting. Then when I was done, I had to reverse the process and roll back to the couch so I could use it to pull myself up.

This time, I didn't need to do all that. I could get down to the floor, right where I was. And then when I was done--surprise--I could stand up again! Not without some pain. I couldn't do this easily, but I could do it.

Getting stronger. Weight loss is barely detectable to me, visually, but other signs are there.

Overeating wasn't too bad today. Treated myself to chocolate pizza but I didn't overdo it.

My eating has totally collapsed. But I'm always fine, so it must be okay. I'm having minor surgery on the 9th under full anesthesia, and of course i didn't mention any ED history. I also weighed in with an underweight bmi with several layers of clothes and shoes, and no one asked. They're not concerned. So, I'll just assume it's all fine, and if anything goes wrong they can fix it. I'm always okay, I'm sure I'll be okay forever. Right?

I really hope you mention the ED to your doctor who's doing the surgery just to be sure you'll be okay under anesthesia

Thanks for your concern, nice to hear from you. Feeling down today but each day changes and maybe it will get better. Feel free to PM or VM me anytime. I check it almost every day.

I'm finding that keeping my calendar pretty free is allowing me to pay closer attention to my overeating. I've discovered some foods to simply cut out because they cause me to eat more. I've discovered what snacks I can control myself with. I've discovered that I have to change a lot of my habits.

Yesterday I ordered a small pizza and only had two slices, which was a huge win. But then I ate all of a huge salad. I think I eat for emotional reasons and attended my first Overeaters Anonymous meeting a few weeks ago. It was very, very painful to be there and face this problem head-on. FYI, if you go to the OA website you can find local and online meeting schedules.

Hope you all are having a good eating day today. So far, I'm okay today.

@Blue_Bird i wussed out on sharing ED history, but my heart and anesthesia were fine.
I was unable to get the procedure completed due to my anatomy, which is very upsetting. I will have to decide about a bigger surgery. Thanks for your support!

I hope you are doing well! Do you have any Farmer's Markets where you live? They're about to start where i live, and their produce is the best. If you have a food assistance card, you get double your money on fresh produce in my city. And it lasts longer, too, since it hasn't been on a truck for months first!

I'm sorry you were unable to get the surgery, I wish you luck on your decision regarding the bigger surgery

I'm doing well, we have farmers market here too, actually it's right down the street from where I live and just opened the other day, that's a great idea

Hi BB! Nice to see you. I'm on a "I'll eat what I want" thing right now. Oh well, enjoying myself.

Still here. Working on finding out the cause of my iron-deficiency anemia. So many tests, labs, doctors, just sick of it. Hematologist thinks most likely source is Protonix (acid reducer in stomach, but you need acid to absorb iron), gastritis (found by endoscopy), and an effect from perforated duodenal ulcer surgery.

Underweight still, but I did gain a few pounds (ugh, feel horribly fat).

Hematologist put me on iron infusions (2 infusions, had the 2nd yesterday). Can't tell a difference yet, but supposedly it's different for everyone, a week or more is common, I'm told.

I do have more energy after being on iron pills and infusions, ran again this morning, probably too much, some motivation to do things now and again like vacuum, organize my office, write a poem. So maybe I could be worse off?

And yet the stupid thoughts, the dumb ED lingers on...
