My OH brought home donuts. I believe he's trying to make me gain weight from all this crap. The other day he brought home Reese's peanut butter cups. I had some of those delectable treats. They're gone, those bags are so freaking small! But, I will NOT consume one donut. They look delish, tho Daily Check In Thread for those with an eating disorder of any kind #2Daily Check In Thread for those with an eating disorder of any kind #2Daily Check In Thread for those with an eating disorder of any kind #2Daily Check In Thread for those with an eating disorder of any kind #2Daily Check In Thread for those with an eating disorder of any kind #2

Never tried or heard of. Raw radishes are one of my favorite vegetables to eat. Is this pickled radish sort of like pickle relish?

I hope you all have a good weekend. I'm just listening to music, trying to learn to relax better.

Breezed thru morning with alot of energy. I got a pile of tasks done, fast. I think drinking water does this. Then I did jumprope which I like, cuz it gets my blood pumping. And I feel a jolt of energy. Had raw brocolli for breakfast/lunch. I eat a decent meal around 3 pm.

I generally do okay during the work week ...

It's the weekends that prove most difficult.

Feeling a bit sick to my stomach this afternoon, not sure why.

Ran this morning a lot. Someone walking their dog asked me what marathon I was training for? The one in Houston in January? I guess a lot of the same people see me because there are certain areas I go around multiple times because of the mileage. Like the block around my house is pretty much exactly 1/2 a mile, and there is an area I will circle a lot because it is just over a mile long.

I have a distance runner's body now, and the ED loves it. I need to have a distance runner's body with a little more weight on it, but as much as my pdoc nags me about my weight, it has been in same window 5 lb. up or down from a given number since May or June. And, of course, the ED loves having a skinny distance runner's body...sigh.

Do you make yourself meal plans for the day/week? Do you think that would be helpful, or triggering? (I know you plan your shopping trips really well from another thread ) I hate to feel like others are controlling my food, but sometimes when ive made a plan of my own and stuck to it, it can help hit the "reset" button.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you!
Yeah, it's definitely a good idea to make meal plans. I may start doing that

I've been doing really well the past few days. I've been using my coping skills very effectively. I also started eating some healthy stuff today. I hope to keep this up. I've been taking walks sometimes to and trying to get a little exercise. Trying to make healthy choices for my body rather than focus on losing weight.

The radishes themselves are very large, but the flavor is a little sweet.

Had dessert after dinner, a piece of white cake with icing. Now feel awful about myself.

God, it was just 1 piece. It's not like I ate an entire cake. It was from a box mix even so probably not as many calories as a store bought cake.

I hate that I can run all these miles and still feel guilty over eating a piece of cake

My favorite is classic rock n roll but I also like just about every kind of music. I listen to some of everything. My favorite lately is Bryan Ferry. I love his music! What kind of music do you like?

Sounds good to me, the making healthy choices. I need to stay focused on that, too.

I slept for 13 hours last night. I couldn't run today because of rain. I feel like I've been very lazy

Yes, I don't like going to the doctor either. I often cancel and reschedule. I hope you can get some help for your stomach.

I'm not even going to write what I ate yesterday; let's say it was an "eat whatever you want" day. I guess I needed to get that out of my system. I was tired of eating the mundane every day so now I experienced what I wanted to and am not going to worry about it. Now, if I can stay off the scale for a week I will probably be okay.

Gloomy day here. I didn't sleep very well last night. Tried a nap, but I couldn't fall asleep.

Did run, beat the rain though I got a little damp on the home stretch. Felt better being able to exercise. Weight is down a bit today, but I think I am dehydrated. See the pdoc on Wed., need to get hydrated again. See the T tomorrow, but this week feels weird with both H and my daughter home. Today feels like Sat. or Sun. (H is a teacher, so he is off this week along with the students.)

Stupid me keeps obsessing over my body. I have a skinny distrance runner's physique now, very compact. Thighs too big, but well, I run.

Still hating the ulcer surgery scar on my abdomen (belly button & up around 4 inches) from Feb. I swear, you can still see where those stupid staples went in. Most of the scar is healing good, though there is a dark pink spot taking it's time. I see gastro-doc next month. Gastro doc and trauma surgeons seem super pleased with this surgery. I had muscle where they normally would have taken fat for the surgery (I had started running, maybe a month or so), and they had to take the fat from another place, changing other parts of the surgery a bit. I don't doubt they have collaborated and written it up for a journal, from off-hand comments I heard. It's not like they need my permission, they just call me female, age 40, etc. Stupid scar.
