When you look at pictures of food online but know you won't actually ever eat that stuff? I've been looking at the stuff that Sugar Factory has yet I know I wouldn't ever go there. I often like to google "big foods" and send it to my mom.

Idk if this is me just doing silly stuff or disordered stuff.

Omg! That stuff sounds disgusting! I like a good peanut buster parfait, but yeah those items were invented by Elf (movie). I think i missed the maple syrup on spaghetti, must be on the dinner menu!
Thanks for this!

I don't think it's an ED, just a strange habit, in my opinion.

Things with food I didn't eat that were ED related all occured at once: hoarding food I'd never eat under my bed, lying about having already eaten, wandering a grocery store for 2 or 3 hours, handling foods, putting them back, then buying something I perceived "safe" and trivial like 3 apples, watching Food Network as much as possible (and only Food Network) along with other ED habits like overexercise, not eating enough calories to sustain the exercise (or basically purging through exercise), lying about having eaten already or elsewhere, lying about not being at the gym, trolling and posting all over pro-ED and pro-ana forums, inability to sleep b/c of not consuming enough calories, not to mention all the physical stuff like scary low BMI & weight (though low NEVER got LOW enough for me), losing my cycle, it was a whole host of factors.

That being said what with you not eating normal meals from what has been recorded in other threads I'd say is disordered eating but not exactly an eating disorder. Though I'm not a psychiatrist so I definitely could be wrong.

I don't remember if you were ever officially diagnosed with an eating disorder, but weren't you in treatment for one and therefore have a history of one?

I wouldn't worry about the label, but if food/numbers/size are becoming preoccupations again (in any way), I would try to come up with a plan to not get back to where you were when things were worse.
