I thought coming to my decision about getting gastric bypass would make my urges to purge go away but they have intensified. I talked to my GP and he gave me some meds to help with the acid in my stomach because it hurts everytime I eat and therefore I throw up. I just got done eating rice, peas,a potpie, and a piece of blueberry/blackberry pie with whipped topping. I am trying to glue myself to the chair because I know I ate too much but I want to go throw up. I am scared because I don't want to have an eating disorder but it looks like I do. I am hoping that this doesn't disqualify me for surgery.
