Okay, I'll admit it: I've had an over-eating problem my entire life. And yes, I'm technicly obese because of this (I don't look *too* bad though) Recently I've been trying to fix my eating habbits...with mixed results Ultimately, I've gained weight but that's okay because I havn't given up yet. But...there is this odd little behavior that I've been doing since I was a little kid. When I was younger, for whatever reason, I loved the tast of salt. I'd pour gracious ammounts on my food (at the disgust of my brother) I'd even eat it out of the plam of my hand! Ever since I started trying to have a healthier eating style I've drasticly decreased my salt intake and it's not ...quite as pleasent as it used to be. Instead...my salt thing has been replaced by sugar. Yeah...the one thing that is worse for me then salt. And it's not just sugar that I eat, it's also eating as many sugary-items that I can before I get too sick to eat anymore. I'd like to know how to stop this kind of stuff for good! You know, instead of replacing one habbit with the other? Except I don't know what's causing it... I mean, whatever you call it, a bad habbit, compulsive behavior...it has to start somewhere, right? |

I don't really have any good advice, I just want you to let you know I read your post. Habits are so hard to break. Maybe, is it possible to not have the sugar/problem food in the house?? tc, kt |
