Hi Hurtingtn,

Okay okay . Like the movie I avoid it's always the one thats the best .

Great artical . what does it take to get the message across? How much proof. How much study to get the go ahead to say this is the answer.

Please all of you read this artical.

and more importantly click on the Over eaters anonymous link .at the bottom of the page.

Its a simple program but difficult to follow . If one follows it .Tthe fear of geting fat will leave you as long as your body image is in correct alignment. This is another hurdle for some.

*****************************************
I eliminate three ingredients from my diet

Sugar (white and wheat flour.) and most fats

and those ingredients are in almost all procesed foods under one form or another .

and a list of all binge foods being completely hnest with myself . Honesty is the key here. NO cheating.

or me that means all nuts .and I have others .

sorry thats just the way it is for me.

I can have some sugar foods but it has to be just one same goes for the binge foods its tricky. Having just one is whats difficult.

And if its just one it still can have a triggering effect to want more .

theres more to it than that though.

I have to follow the directions...

If a recipe calls for one cup or an ounce of something .

usually one puts it in a measuring cup or on a scale .

some cooks eye ball it ...

LOL!

the struggle with measuring something and it being an over flowing cup and then some .

Ask my dog . she understands.....

something about control and surrender .

at age three I remember eating sugar by the tablespoon right out of the sugar bowl .

I would get my fathers beer for him at age five . Yes I would go pop the meteal tops off and take it to him.

Funny though, that stopped because I was bringing him a third full bottle and you know how a man likes a full bottle.

so there is a connection.

I also watch the fat though.

Quote:

"The same thing is true of eating," he added. "Fattening food has an impact on the regulating mechanism that breaks down your sense of fullness, makes you feel an urge to go back and get that blast of sugar and this creates the vicious cycle of weight gain that we're going through."

take flaxseed oil so I have some say in what fats I have.

The simplicity of the OA program can be found in all the high priced prgrams like weight watchers and jenny craig .
and its free .

maybe its too generic a title for some . Maybe its the connection with AA. or the religion that scares other away .

For me its was a blessing . to be a part of the OA program in my town. I let one woman bully me out of my seat unfortunately . But one one finds the answer its always there to be worked.

Right now I have some other concerns that are weighing on my heart right now . this seems so insignificant to me .
diet and weight loss thin or fat.

But for those of you who are young and struggling . theres help .

its not just mind over platter .

Feel don't feed
