I wouldn't think so. A coworker just had bariatric surgery. To be eligible for bariatric surgery, you must be between 16 and 70 years of age (with some exceptions) and morbidly obese (weighing at least 100 pounds over your ideal body weight and having a BMI of 40).

If you were thinking liposuction then depending on what you want done you might be a good candidate. One of my friends got lipo and I think she only weighs like 135 BUT she had some stubborn fat deposits that no amount of exercise was getting rid of.

Good luck

No. Bariatric surgery is for the morbidly obese. Like the above said, maybe you are thinking about liposuction? That would be out of pocket surgery but you could get it.

Bariatric surgery is serious and changes the anatomy of your digestive system.. As a 24 year old who is under 150lbs, you would be hard pressed to find a surgeon who would do that to you.
