Today I went to the gym. This is a real big deal because my Lithium keeps me really tired. I just started taking vitamin b complex for energy. I lasted 22 minutes on the treadmill. My steps for today were 6,057. MFP calories were 1,025. I drank around 40 oz of water today.

I am very impressed with Starry and Coco - well done!!

I am not doing so well, but today I did zip about a bit on my bike, short journeys but a few of them to get from A to B. Also a tiring shift on my feet at work (not sure this is exercise as such but curious what my steps would be if I counted them). Have not run for a week, feeling bad about that.

Oh edited to add I ate lots of kale for my evening meal tonight, that's got to be good right? And I have cut back on sugary snacks these last few weeks, so doing better with my diet.

Ok everyone.....I did it I survived thirty minutes on the treadmill today. Not sure I can always do it but I did today. MFP total daily calories 1,035 and my Apple Watch steps 8,171. Water intake 35 oz.

Prefabsprout - Yes kale is healthy. It’s really good you started cutting back on sugary snacks. I’ve had my 11 year old daughter do the same.

Thank you Prefab! And you go, Coco!

I would like to sauté some kale sometime. A friend told me how to do it so that it comes out soft and not tough. I had braised kale and carrots from a cafe recently, with chicken salad. it was amazing.

That sounds delicious Starry, yes I think it's how you cook it that makes it softer, I had a pesto sauce made with pureed kale and then made ribolita with kale in too which was very warming and hearty.

Well done on your two walks Starry, is it still snowy where you are?

Coco it sounds like you earned and needed a rest day after your workouts.

I got a 5k in this morning, first in a week, so slow and unfit but at least I got out there, my motivation is still low and I'm thinking about kick starting it by signing up to a half marathon later this year.

Hey Prefab

The weather here is cold then warm. Its been 20s F - 40s F. The snow is melting today, I can see the grass today. And yeah, yesterday was supposed to be 40s when I walked. Was by the lake and it was a bit cold and windy. It was ok though.

Wow, a half marathon! So I think I have not been closely following, but do you walk or run? Or both? If it motivates you and is something you enjoy, I say, go for it!!

I really relaxed today. I just stayed home inside aside from walking my dog.

Starrysky - I’m glad you were able to get out and hit the gym.

I had this brilliant idea to join this thread while talking to my T, then forgot all about it!

I’m going to do something with my exercise ball and hand weights.
