((((((((Coco)))))))) I really love the idea of gluten free. I am still experimenting with cutting back on sugar. It's an "adventure." Lol. One where I am not always able to stick with. I imagine it might be hard if you are like me and emotionally eat. Like, hey, my coping mechanism is gone!! But it also sounds like you're feeling physically better. Tea sounds really nice. I drink tea myself and I love it. Since it's summer, I have been doing iced tea. But when I bust out the tea kettle, something inside me is like, ok, self soothing time. Somethings seem more right with the world with tea. Even just the process of making it and having a mug of it by my side. PS: Have you tried cold water? For me it works. Putting cold water on my face, or wrists, or neck. Even a cool shower. Just a thought. ((hug))

I went to the gym yesterday. It was just ok. I did 20 min. on the treadmill. It was a very short time for me. I was listening to a podcast I couldn't get into. Lol. Today I am going to yoga class.

My goal today is to try and eat more. I was so stressed yesterday. I ate waffles and berries for breakfast. Yesterday I did not eat breakfast so I’m off to a good start. I’m going to take my 12 year old daughter swimming today.

I went to yoga today, it was really nice. It gave me something to get out of bed for, and I looked forward to it. I'm eating cut up watermelon right now. For breakfast I had oatmeal with blueberries and walnuts.

Waffles and berries sound yummy. Enjoy swimming with your daughter!

Me and my daughter rented two movies. We watched one. Then ate dinner and made a cherry cheesecake pie it has to chill in the refrigerator. Now we’re going to start our second movie.

My daughter and I got our bathing suits on to go swimming. Then got to the pools (there are two). We forgot the pools are closed on Mondays. Lol

I went to the gym today. It was shorter than usual. But I used the weights and did a little bit of bike.

Lately, I've been eating crap. But I'm getting back on the wagon. I want to strive for 5.

Last night I had insomnia really bad. It’s been a long time since I’ve been bothered by it. I tossed and turned for hours. I think I fell a sleep at 2:30 AM.CST. Then my daughter tried to wake me for breakfast and I was too sleepy to get up. So today I just had lunch and dinner. I did get some walking done it was nice. I would have walked more but we had a heat alert in our area.

rjdb, feel free to post if you want. Exercise is hard sometimes. It takes effort for me and I haven't been doing much of it lately. They say its helpful for motivation to find something you enjoy doing.

I'm sorry you had insomnia the other night. Has it gotten any better? It has been pretty hot here, but we didn't have an alert. It's definitely a good idea to stay inside with that.

Hello KnitChick,

My sleep was fine last night. Today the temp was 103 but felt like 112. The ambulance attended to a few heat related cases.

I'm going to a strength training class today, and doing things around the house. Laundry and cleaning out my fridge.

I've reincorporated daily yoga back into my life again. I'm on week 3. I just started a newer disc which is more of a 7 day 15minute fat burner. I was getting out of shape. Glad to have brought it back into my life. Yes, I'm feeling a difference.

Hi Healingme4me! That is excellent! I go through on and off periods with yoga. I'm taking a class Fridays now. Doing yoga everyday is impressive and hearing about it is inspiring! Great job.
