MFP calories 1804. Apple Watch steps 4,329.
Water intake 50.7oz. Well I went over my calories (1280) that’s because I went out to eat for Mother’s Day with both of my daughters. Afterwards me and my youngest daughter walked around indoors.

However, not too long ago, I was at 178 to 179 pounds. Without meaning to, here I have lost some more weight. However, if I gain too much weight, I will no longer to be able to fit in my new wardrobe. For instance, my old pants are at least over five inches too large.

I was arrested for a DUI where I almost hit a mother and her child broadside. Went through two red lights. I have no memory of this. First time in my life I felt terrified over what almost had happened, which caused the weight loss. FWIW the charges were dropped since they found nothing in my blood to have caused this. I am seeing a neurologist later this month over this and other matters. I am still not over it even though this happened almost a year ago. I am relieved no one was hurt. I would of never been able to forgive myself otherwise.

PS Anyways, I apologized in advance if I sometimes carry on about the distance I walked, the speed I had attained, and my peak heart rate, and total calories burned. I have a fun toy on my wrist which is a fitness watch. It provides me with so much information, most of which I really do not need. However, it does motivate me to improve my previous stats.
Thanks for explaining. I'd feel the same way if it were me (very freaked out). I hope your neurologist appt. goes well. That sounds like a good thing to do. Yes, that whole thing sounds very disconcerting and super unnerving (if that were me). I hope you can find a way to forgive yourself at some point. I have noticed that I get distracted by my thoughts lately while driving, and it's kind of scary because I have caught myself almost going through red lights and I almost hit bicyclist the other day. Do you take the bus / walk now? Regardless, here's a hug for you.

I wish I had a fun wrist toy. like a fit bit. Carry on all you want.

Thank you. I’m trying to get motivated to go walking in the morning before it gets hot. Fingers crossed.

Sat: brother visited so no official exercise, but moved furniture and did various outdoor work

Sun: used rowing machine in little garden house with double doors open (but screened)

Mon (today): stretching class, and did some track and stairs beforehand

Hello Tucson and UpDownAround!

Hope you're feeling better soon, starry.

Good luck with the morning walks Coco. It's blood hungry fly season here at the moment which makes walking unpleasant, even with bug repellent.

Hi Ceph

You guys are so good. You're all inspiring me.

Oh my, blood hungry flies! We will be getting them more around summer. Reminds me to not walk in the woods then because all sorts of winged things dive bomb your head and whisper scream in your ear.

I'm still recuperating. I think this new med is ok. I've had pretty bad anxiety about it though, and my mom said to find ways to distract myself.

Yesterday I just did some stretches at my parents house. If I exercise today I will post about it later today. Its probably a good idea to. I noticed movement takes my mind off the anxiety.

Today I forgot that my gym membership expires. I've been putting off renewing it, mainly because I've just had a lot on my mind and to do, and its just one more thing to go to my parents house and find my paperwork for them. Anyway, I'm going to do that tomorrow, and today, I did some stretching and strengthening exercises in my apartment for around 30 minutes!

Nia classes, Cyprus swamps ... you people are so exotic. I just typically bang away on a rowing machine -- and lose impromptu wrestling matches with large herbivores.

Oh my gosh. Black flies??? They have those in the Adirondacks and they are tiny but their bites leave these big red itchy welts. It reminds me of a time my family went to up there when I was a child (we went every summer). There were black flies everywhere and all over our clothes, lol. I thought it was kind of cool. My mom did not.

I walked in the eve(for about 30 min) and did stretching exercises(for about 20mins) afterwards at home. It makes me feel much better and physically good too if I can do these. I plan to do strengthening exercises like squats and stair climbing once I get comfortable with these. Maybe it will take me a couple of months to get used to this routine first and then I can add the strengthening exercises.

My goal: to exercise (30+20)min Mon-Fri. Currently it's hard to do 5 days a week so I m trying 4days a week.

This is great! Was originally my goal, too. I'd ultimately like to exercise 4 times a week at least.

Everybody around here calls them black flies, but I don't know if everybody knows what they're talking about. They're only a problem a couple of weeks in the spring. Whatever they are, I don't feel them when they bite but they leave little crater-like bite marks that itch and weep for 2-3 weeks -- which is unnecessarily annoying. And they sure buzz ferociously around my head.

Overweight sheep. It's not fair really. Because they have a much lower centre-of-gravity and my main concern is being as gentle as I can. They, on the other hand, usually feel that any time is a good time to panic. Of course they don't mean any harm -- bless their little dim-witted hearts.

Hi Desiree! Nice to see you here.

I started with walking and stretching too, after years of being too sedentary. That worked out well. I too started with more modest goals and times to try and ensure I stuck with it. I felt it was important to make it a habit I could keep, rather than go all-out right away. That was a year ago and has worked out well for me, so hopefully you find that encouraging.

I'm glad to hear it's making you feel better already.

Me and my youngest daughter enjoyed our birthday today. I bought her a Fitbit Charge 2 as her present. We did a lot of walking today.

I still haven't renewed my gym membership yet. My parents are out of town until sometime next week. I will deal with it then and in the meantime, do my best to just do some stretches and strength exercises inside. Its been pretty warm outside and this weekend there's a 100% chance of rain.
